Connecting air tools to a compressor requires both an air hose and industrial fittings. When set up and connected properly, this should allow a reliable and continuous flow of compressed air to be supplied to the air tool. Most commonly air tools can be connected to air compressors by first connecting a male threaded coupling to the air compressor, which would then be connected to one end of the air hose via a hose tail adaptor. The other end of the hose would have a hose tail coupling installed, which then would be connected to an air tool via a male threaded adaptor. This setup should allow you to use your pneumatic air tool without interruption. If you are also required to connect two air hoses together to extend the length of air hose, a double ended hose tail connector can be used to connect the two together. It is worth noting that the diameter of the air hose used should also match the diameter of the industrial fittings used.
